Job Description
As a Lead Solution Engineer, you will be a strategic leader for the greenfield (net new logo) team focused on helping Professional Services, High Tech, and Software companies modernize core business operations using Oracle Cloud. You'll act as a trusted advisor, shaping deal strategy, architecting cloud solutions, and delivering inspiring product demonstrations tailored to unique industry needs.
You will lead customer engagements end-to-end—from discovery through demo—while also building reusable assets, and helping Oracle scale its presence in these high-growth industries.
Solution & Industry Leadership
· Lead the technical strategy, discovery, and solution design for new opportunities.
· Deliver demos that address industry-specific pain points.
· Translate business requirements into compelling cloud solutions and stories across core processes like Record-to-Report, Project-to-Cash, Time & Expense, Subscription Management, Source to Settle, Make to Order, and Order to Cash.
Innovation & Collaboration
· Operate with a growth mindset—develop new demo flows, assets, and sales plays to address net-new use cases and whitespace accounts.
· Collaborate with sales and other solution engineers to co-create industry-specific narratives that differentiate Oracle in a competitive SaaS market.
· Provide insights to influence product roadmap decisions and messaging strategies.
Mentorship & Team Enablement
· Coach and mentor Solution Engineers across the team and broader organization on product knowledge, demo techniques, and competitive differentiation.
· Promote best practices, contribute to internal asset libraries, and lead enablement sessions to scale expertise.
Strategic Influence
· Engage in strategic account planning and demand generation alongside account executives and business development.
· Represent Oracle at industry events, workshops, and customer advisory sessions to elevate the Oracle brand and uncover opportunities.
· Assist in pipe progression through account strategy reviews, activity planning and prioritizing, territory and account planning with sales leaders and teams to align on a plan with sales and executing to plan.
Responsibilities
5+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Consulting, ideally in ERP or Supply Chain.
· Deep knowledge of business operations in Professional Services, High Tech, or Software industries.
· Expertise in Oracle Cloud Applications (Financials, Projects, Supply Chain Management, CX, HCM) or comparable solutions (e.g., SAP, Workday, NetSuite, or Microsoft).
· Strong presentation and storytelling skills—able to translate technology into business value for both executives and practitioners.
· Proven ability to lead complex sales cycles and influence buying decisions.
· Experience in greenfield or high-growth environments is a major plus.
· Self-starter with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline; certifications like CPA, PMP, or CFA are a plus.
· Willingness to travel 10-20% as needed.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from $45.43 to $85.63 per hour; from: $94,500 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
