Job Description

Workflow Optimization and Analytics Architect position focuses on enhancing performance improvement initiatives through data analytics and expertise in Cerner programming. The selected candidate will analyze healthcare data to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and improved patient outcomes. They will collaborate with various teams to develop data-driven strategies and solutions, using their knowledge of informatics to inform decision-making processes. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Oracle Health (Cerner) systems, and a commitment to leveraging data to enhance healthcare delivery within the organization.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities-

  • Data Management with Oracle Health Experience in managing and analyzing data within Oracle's Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Knowledge of Cerner Millennium and how to extract data for analysis.
  • Understanding of Clinical Workflows: Familiarity with clinical workflows to better understand how data is generated and utilized in patient care settings.
  • Clinical Data Integration: Skills in integrating clinical data from Oracle with other data sources, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data analysis.
  • Oracle Analytics Tools: Proficiency in using Oracle's analytics solutions, such as PowerInsight or HealtheAnalytics, to generate insights and support decision-making.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Ability to create reports and dashboards using Oracle tools, ensuring that clinical staff have access to meaningful data visualizations.
  • Interoperability Knowledge: Understanding of interoperability standards used within Oracle and the ability to work with data exchange protocols (like HL7 or FHIR).
  • User Training and Support: Experience in training clinical staff on using Oracle tools for data analysis and reporting, ensuring effective usage of analytics capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in clinical informatics and data analytics within a healthcare setting Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, or a related field; Master degree preferred
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with a focus on data driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices in informatics.
  • Must reside in or around the Valhalla, NY area

US: Hiring Range in USD from $33.94 to $67.88 per hour; from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
