The Oracle Local Government Global Industry Unit has launched a modern suite of public safety SaaS applications and hardware for the Local Government markets using cutting edge technologies. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast and delivering innovative solutions to public safety agencies.
Who You Are:
The Public Safety Implementation Consultant is a key member of the Oracle team responsible for customer implementation strategy, configuration, and customer enablement of Oracle Public Safety solutions. The position requires strong consulting skills and the ability to develop trusting business partnerships with key Oracle public safety customers. You will play a lead role during the implementation, identifying and documenting client business requirements, mapping and configuring the Oracle solutions to meet the requirements and providing guidance to customers to achieve a successful implementation. You must identify potential issues and risks early in an implementation to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans. This team member will partner closely with the Product, Sales and Support teams to ensure a superior customer relationship throughout the implementation. A solid candidate will have an innate ability to simplify complex technology concepts and to plan, prioritize and seamlessly integrate all moving parts to deploy successful solutions.

- Use your experience and knowledge in public safety software and operations to align customer needs and requirements with evolving product roadmaps and development.
- Expand and challenge the way we provide service by going beyond our customers’ expectations by designing and delivering market leading implementation methods and solutions to deliver an amazing experience.
- Challenge industry standards in approaching, designing and implementing modern technology solutions in the public safety space.
- Become an expert in Oracle public safety products to deliver cutting edge solutions and referenceable customers.
- Exhibit strong executive presence and ability to interact with key project sponsors.
What you've done:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 8 years) work experience
- 5+ years of technical and/or consulting experience architecting enterprise and application solutions in public safety software.
- Proven self-starter that proactively develops working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, use-case documentation, business analysis, integrations/interfaces, data conversions and other key elements of public safety implementations.
- Ability to translate business requirements to technical resources and vice-versa.
- Experienced with gap analysis, issue documentation, tracking and prioritization.
- Delivered end-to-end solutions throughout the entire SDLC including running customer-facing workshops, leading testing and feedback sessions, Go-Live planning and successful Customer Success/Support transitions.
- Shown comfort working in rapid paced environments with evolving expectations and priorities.
- Able to travel up to 25% of the time depending on need.
It would be awesome if you also had:
- CJIS certification
- Knowledge/familiarity with Oracle products and services, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Experience working in a public safety position
- Project Management experience or certifications
- Management experience including hiring, developing and leading a team
- JIRA experience
- Technical skills (SQL, Python, Java)
Note:
This is a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) sensitive position and will require a fingerprint-based background investigation, conducted by customer criminal justice agencies, to determine an applicant’s eligibility for access to criminal justice information. Employees hired for this position will be required to obtain and maintain CJIS access approval by Federal, state, and/or local agencies for Criminal Justice information, related law enforcement databases, and communications systems.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
