Within this role as part of the Sales Consulting Organization, the Senior Sales Consultant directly interacts with our current install base, prospects, and channel partners. You will be responsible to analyze their requirements, configure and demonstrate a value-oriented solution, and enlighten the customer on potential pathways to resolving business pain. Responsibilities:

As a subject matter expert, the Senior Sales Consultant provides direction and specialized knowledge around the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence function related to the customers’ business and industry. You will create and facilitate a vision for the customer using presentations, demonstrations, and benchmarks that leave them with an understanding of the “ART OF THE POSSIBLE”.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. You will act as a trusted advisor in a highly collaborative selling environment and perform needs gathering and requirement analysis surrounding customer business pain. Ultimately, you will develop and deliver high quality value-based Oracle presentations and demonstrations, articulating advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and the overall Oracle solution. Your communication skills need to be versatile as your audience may be from all levels including line of business managers, technical engineers, and "C" level executives. You will use your creativity to design and paint a future for product enhancements and how customers will use the product, while also providing input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed. You will be part of a team that becomes the internal product advocates and bring our products into the mainstream of conversations.

Responsibilities

Skills:

  • 3+ years of relevant analytics, business intelligence, and/or data warehousing experience
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP, including core business processes/modules, saved searches, reporting, and the data model
  • Industry acumen within the High-Tech and Products oriented industry preferred although all industries are relevant
  • General finance, accounting, and supply chain knowledge
  • BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable
  • Prior experience in sales, sales consulting, or software consulting is optimal but not necessary
  • Previous application experience in one or more of the following desired: Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx (or comparable BI tools); Oracle SQL Developer; databases/data warehouses including Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server or similar; ETL/integration tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python highly desirable
  • Interpersonal skills a MUST
  • Consultative, value-based mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, needs analysis, value positioning, business justification, closing techniques, presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems with accounts in complex technical environments
  • Ability/flexibility to travel as needed, up to 20%

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from $31.20 to $76.44 per hour; from: $64,900 to $159,000 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
