Job Description
The Global Improvement (GI) Intern works with the GI business architects and the Technical Content Vault engineer. They are part of the Business Architecture, Technical Content Vault, and Logical Data Center (LDC) Build units. They collaborate daily with teams across NetSuite Cloud Operations to ensure support for, implementation of, and adherence to BA&A, configuration management, and change control strategies. They also assist in the planning, and implementation of LDC builds.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced learning environment and is comfortable addressing challenging situations even when differing opinions are expressed. They effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support TCV migrations and LDC builds. This ability means calmly guiding discussions, regardless of the problems' urgency or severity, and managing stakeholders at all organizational levels. They enjoy applying technical, analytical, and managerial skills to optimize processes, produce outcomes, and drive change.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Configuration Management and Change Control
- Track and monitor Cloud Operations technical documentation placed under configuration control in the Technical Content Vault (TCV)
- Collaborate on approval processes and workflows that are related to documentation compliance and business architecture sublayers
Migration and TCV Evolution
- Manage stakeholder expectations by following the stakeholder engagement, reporting, and communication strategy
- Work with Delivery Managers to ensure timely delivery of work packages while ensuring quality and compliance requirements are met
Business Architecture
- Collaborate on business architecture problems related to the NSGBU Cloud Operations organisation
- Review business architecture sublayer entity relation diagrams related to NSGBU LDC capacity expansions within OCI and produce release previews used for capacity planning
LDC Build
- Aid in the development of capacity expansion plans and schedules; and
- Track and report on build progress.
Expected Outcomes of the Internship
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundation certification (Oracle funded);
- Functional understanding of project management (On-the-job training); and
- Under the guidance of a business architect, deliver a solution to an existing business architecture problem.
Skills and Qualifications
- Possess a combination of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills;
- Bachelor's student in industrial engineering, business analytics, management information systems, or a related field;
- A knowledge of production methods, processes, and systems;
- Experience in Document Control or Configuration Management is an asset;
- An understanding of applications for production management is an asset;
- Ability to manage multiple variables and constraints that affect the build process, such as demand fluctuations, resource availability, quality issues, and delivery deadlines;
- Familiarity with industry best practices in project management; and
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make decisions even when faced with ambiguity.
- Attend a university in the United States and able to obtain work authorization in the United States
- Role based in Austin, TX and ability to work in office

US: Hiring Range in USD from $18.99 to $38.32 per hour; from: $39,500 to $79,700 per annum.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
