Why We're Hiring
We're looking for a contract-to-hire Senior Fullstack Engineer to help us build media and commerce experiences that scale. You’ll work across the stack—from APIs and backend services to mobile-friendly frontend interfaces—helping define and deliver key capabilities in our domain-driven platform.
What You'll Do
- Build scalable end-to-end features using modern fullstack tools (Node.js, Go, React, Remix)
- Lead development of user-facing features with clean, responsive frontend code
- Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs that connect media and commerce services
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA to ship well-scoped, high-impact releases
- Identify performance bottlenecks across the stack and contribute to long-term stability initiatives
- Write and maintain automated test coverage across frontend and backend services
- Support the architecture and evolution of our headless commerce infrastructure
- Participate in sprint planning, technical design reviews, and postmortems
Who You Are
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including frontend and backend systems
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and server-side frameworks
- Proficient in backend languages such as Node.js or Go
- Comfortable building and consuming APIs in production environments
- Experience collaborating in agile teams with clear ownership over a domain
- Preferred:
- Experience with Shopify Hydrogen, Remix, or other headless commerce stacks
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture (Kafka, etc.)
- Prior work in a high-scale media or eCommerce environment
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
