Netflix is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Operations for our Games Licensing team. This role will be pivotal in driving the operational strategy and execution for our games licensing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gaming, licensing, and operations management, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies to support the growth and success of Netflix's games licensing initiatives.

  • Teamwork: Work across a broad, cross functional team of production, marketing, content, and business development team members to execute the games licensing roadmap projects, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements and create best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in games licensing operations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including content acquisition, marketing, legal, finance, and product, to ensure seamless execution of licensing agreements.

  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external partners and vendors, ensuring alignment with Netflix's strategic goals and operational standards.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of licensing operations and drive continuous improvement.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure compliance and protect Netflix's interests.

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the gaming sector.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations within licensing, publishing, or product development, with a focus on gaming or entertainment companies.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Deep knowledge and passion for the UGC games ecosystem and understanding of the major players and current trends.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering results in a dynamic environment.

  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry and its trends.

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in either game production or games marketing, credited on numerous launched titles.

  • Experience with new gaming platforms and technologies, including streaming.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $260,000.00 - $520,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location.
