The Team
The Netflix Live Events team is responsible for planning and executing Netflix’s LIVE events across Sports and Entertainment, including specials and multi-title fan events. The team values strong partnerships, clear communication, and shared ownership, working together to deliver live experiences with a high bar for quality and execution.
Live Events is a visible and trusted partner working across Marketing, Content, Production, and other cross-functional teams. Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas, problem-solve together, and support one another in a fast-moving environment with a shared goal of delivering well-executed live events that reflect Netflix’s standards and create memorable moments for audiences.
The Opportunity
The Netflix Live Events team is seeking a Senior Manager, Live Events with expertise in live event production and the execution of large-scale, culture-shaping events across a wide range of formats, sizes, and global locations. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of Netflix’s most high-profile LIVE events and specials, helping to set the standard for operational excellence, creative ambition, and cultural relevance.
You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside senior leadership and a cross-functional team to support the strategic planning and execution of Netflix’s marquee Live programming—including sports events, entertainment events, and fan events like TUDUM and Netflix is a Joke Fest. In addition to delivering exceptional events, you’ll help define processes, elevate creative standards, and contribute to broader LIVE initiatives that drive innovation and create memorable moments for audiences worldwide.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the event strategy and post-event evaluation, ensuring that each activation reflects Netflix’s values and continues to push boundaries in the live events space.
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end event strategy, creative development, planning, and execution for Netflix’s Live Events slate with global partners.
Oversee all aspects of event production, including creative design, venue sourcing, vendor research, and contract negotiation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams, across production, content, legal, security, health & safety, and other internal teams to ensure aligned and efficient workflows.
Day-to-day communication and partnership with external leagues and partners, such as the WWE, NFL, FIFA, and others.
Identify opportunities to scale and streamline event operations, processes, and tools.
Build, manage, and reconcile event budgets and invoices, ensuring financial accuracy and accountability.
Deliver creatively excellent events that meet strategic goals while staying within approved budgets.
Own post-event analysis, capturing insights, cross-functional feedback, and performance metrics to inform future Live Events.
Maintain and elevate event standards based on learnings from previous activations.
Partner closely with Marketing and Ad Sales to support client integrations related to Live Events.

Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-profile events on time and within budget.
Innovative mindset with a passion for bringing fresh, strategic ideas to the table.
Strong leadership presence, able to guide teams and contribute creatively to a wide range of challenges.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Qualifications:
10+ years of large scale, sporting and/or entertainment event experience, ideally within a network, agency, or studio environment.
Demonstrated success leading complex global projects and driving new concepts from ideation to execution.
Proven ability to think independently and innovatively, connecting dots, solving problems, and identifying opportunities where others may not.
Experience in working with global partners and events is a plus.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $238,000 - $433,000.
