The Finance Product organization builds platforms that enable Netflix’s global Finance teams to plan, manage, and optimize financial performance across the business.
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of enterprise-grade revenue and operating expense (OPEX) planning systems that power financial operations and decision making across Netflix. This role focuses on building scalable data, analytics, and AI-driven platform capabilities used by Finance teams across Ads, Games, People Cost, Corporate, and Content.
You will shape end-to-end planning workflows spanning ads supply and demand forecasting, headcount scenario modeling, and P&L performance insights. You will deliver intuitive and reliable systems that improve financial accuracy, strengthen operational rigor, and enable strategic trade-offs at scale.
Partnering closely with Finance, Engineering, Design, and Data Science, you will build enterprise planning tools designed for the speed, scale, and complexity of global media and entertainment. These systems will drive financial accountability while preserving the creative flexibility required to support thousands of productions worldwide.
We’re looking for someone who can fluidly navigate between end users and product development teams, applying strong product thinking, structured problem solving, and strategic frameworks, while being equally passionate about financial accuracy, data integrity, and delivering intuitive, scalable user experiences that users trust to run their productions.
This role can be based in our Los Gatos or Los Angeles office. This role will require travel to Los Gatos and Los Angeles at least 1-2 times per month.
As a Product Manager at Netflix, you will:
Build a strategic roadmap and take product concepts from ideas through validation, shipping, measurement, and iteration.
Author strategy memos and presentations, and represent your team’s work to senior executives.
Lead a team of stunning colleagues across design, engineering, and data science to deliver outstanding products to our customers.
Build business cases and measure the impact of your product innovation.
As the Product Manager on the Production Finance team, you will be responsible for:
Defining the product vision and strategy for our enterprise-grade financial systems that power how we plan, budget, track, and manage revenue and expense across our many lines of business.
Partnering with Finance, Content, and Business Product teams to break down complex finance and production workflows, leveraging a combination of purpose-built technology and best-in-class third-party solutions to deliver scalable, intuitive, and highly reliable internal platforms.
Developing and driving a roadmap that balances prioritizing the highest-impact opportunities for the business with cross-functional partner needs.
Leading cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and data science to discover and execute opportunities.
Clearly articulating product strategy, priorities, and tradeoffs across stakeholders and leadership to drive alignment and decision-making.
What we are looking for:
Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience with a proven record of prioritizing and successfully launching products or platforms.
Experience building or implementing enterprise financial applications and a strong understanding of financial planning & analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, revenue and cost management, variance analysis, capex, cash flow planning, financial hierarchies, and multi-currency workflows, general ledger (GL)
Comfortable partnering with engineers on APIs, system integrations, and complex data pipelines.
Prior experience working with OLAP planning systems (e.g., TM1/Planning Analytics, Anaplan, Pigment, Hyperion, Essbase, Adaptive, etc.)
Experience building internal products or B2B enterprise applications.
Experience with products that have directly used ML/AI technologies.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a cross-functional team: Your ability to build strong relationships is critical to success in this role.
Experience using data to inform priorities and evaluate the impact of initiatives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you will write a lot!
Experience working on internal products or B2B enterprise products.
Has strong instincts for outstanding customer experience.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $400K - $700K.
