The Role:

As an HR Program Manager, you will lead and support strategic, cross-functional HR projects that drive business impact for the Tech HR team. You will be responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of key HR processes, leveraging data-driven insights and exceptional communication skills to influence stakeholders and deliver results. This role will work closely with the HR Business Partner team to drive specific HR programs/initiatives that attract, engage, and retain talent.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Lead and participate in high-impact, cross-functional HR projects (e.g., annual compensation cycle, Employee Sentiment Survey results rollout).

  • Develop project plans, manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery of critical HR initiatives.

Data Analysis & Storytelling

  • Analyze and synthesize people and organizational data to uncover insights, inform recommendations, and drive the HR agenda.

  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences, enabling data-driven decision-making.

  • Provide advanced Excel analysis support to HR Partners and stakeholders.

Operations & Logistics

  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational excellence.

  • Track and coordinate key HR programs, ensuring alignment and collaboration across multiple teams.

Experience:

  • Project & Program Management: 5+ years of overall experience, including at least 3 years organizing, managing, and delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines—ideally across HR domains such as organizational design, workforce planning, or talent metrics.

  • HR Fluency: Demonstrated exposure to or experience overseeing HR/Talent programs. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.

  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to break down complex issues, identify root causes, and develop creative, practical solutions.

  • Data Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel, with a proven ability to manipulate, analyze, and visualize large datasets.

  • Data Storytelling: Skilled at interpreting data, identifying trends, and presenting insights clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to craft clear, concise, and persuasive messages tailored for different audiences.

  • Business Curiosity: Proactively seeks to understand the business, its culture, and evolving stakeholder needs.

  • Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; adept at making tradeoffs and managing competing priorities.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Los Gatos office.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $80,000 - $280,000.
