The Team

Content Promotion & Distribution (CPD) sits at the intersection of the consumer experience and the Netflix Studio. Our team is integral to making the Netflix experience feel personal and relevant by developing innovative approaches to how we catalog, promote, localize, and distribute content.

The Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Program Manager (L7) to work at the intersection of engineering, product, and business—orchestrating large-scale technical programs that shape the future of our content platforms.

You'll be instrumental in leading complex and high-impact cross-functional initiatives, driving the evolution of our content supply chain and distribution platforms with new content formats, and enabling the creation of entirely new products and experiences for our global audience. These ambitious programs span multiple engineering domains and business units, impacting some of Netflix’s most important strategic bets.

If you thrive in ambiguity, excel at building alignment, and are energized by leading high-impact, large-scale technical programs, we’d love to hear from you.

What you will do

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of complex, cross-functional technical programs across CPD and partner organizations.

  • Build and manage technical program roadmaps, translating business needs and annual objectives into actionable, scalable plans with measurable milestones.

  • Drive strategic alignment and collaboration across multiple teams, breaking down requirements, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability.

  • Proactively identify and manage risks, blockers, and dependencies with technical leads to ensure operational excellence and adaptability to evolving needs.

  • Communicate progress, risks, and technical investments clearly to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.

What we are looking for

  • You have extensive experience managing complex technical programs with many moving parts—people, needs, and technologies—bringing clarity and driving measurable impact.

  • You have a deep understanding and strong point of view within your technical domain(s).

  • You bring a data-driven mindset, using metrics to inform decisions and measure impact.

  • You communicate complex technical information and program status clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.

  • You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty—pulling data for insights, debugging issues, or monitoring system health to ensure program success.

What sets you apart

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, leading large-scale software projects in fast-paced, complex, and highly cross-functional environments.

  • Deep expertise in on-demand and/or live streaming systems (preferred), or comparable large-scale, distributed platforms.

  • Experience driving operational excellence, including transforming processes to be automated and AI-forward.

  • Demonstrated success thriving as a self-starter in 0-to-1 environments.
