Our Commerce Product Team is seeking an experienced Identity Product Manager with a focus on authentication and account security. You will ensure a seamless and secure experience around accessing Netflix via login, sign up, verification, and security measures.
We aim to set the foundation of best-in-class authentication and account security experiences which empowers users while supporting business innovation across TV, web, mobile, and off-platform experiences. You should be comfortable being hands-on and leading in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, collaborating with engineering, security, design, legal, data science, and consumer insights teams. You will be expected to build consensus while confidently making decisions amidst ambiguity.
Location: This role can be based in our Los Gatos or Los Angeles offices in a hybrid model. We are also open to West Coast based remote employees. Some travel to our Los Gatos offices will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a product strategy that ensures alignment across multiple product teams across Netflix (including core streaming, Games, Tudum, offline experience, etc) by balancing consumer simplicity, business objectives, and account security guardrails.
Define and execute a roadmap focused on consumer-facing authentication and security, across platforms (TV, web, apps).
Drive experimentation-based approaches to optimize login, authentication methods, reduce account fraud, and enhance user trust.
Author strategy memos and presentations, representing your team's work to senior executives. This includes defining innovative authentication, security, and access initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering, security, design, consumer insights, data science teams, and legal to build highly impactful products.
Use qualitative and quantitative data to continuously iterate and refine the user experience.
What You Bring:
8+ years of product management experience.
Proven experience developing consumer products, with a focus on defining user identification through login, verification, and security practices.
Experience leading products that require balancing consumer, account security, and business trade-offs.
Strong familiarity with authentication/security best practices (ex: MFA, SSO, passkeys, next-generation login/verification methods) and their implications to industry and core business metrics.
Ability to drive experimentation and leverage data insights to optimize and grow user engagement while balancing security risks.
Strong business acumen with proficiency in identifying, tracking, and acting upon key metrics.
Experience leading end-to-end product development with a relentless focus on delivering intuitive, seamless, and visually compelling user experiences.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $240,000 - $725,000.
