About the Role:
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Enterprise Information Management (EIM) product team. This role will play a key part in defining and executing the roadmap for Information Discovery, transforming the way our workforce finds and leverages Netflix information. You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, and stakeholders across the enterprise to build secure and scalable Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) search, delightful discovery interfaces, and search endpoints for GenAI developers.

About You:
You are curious and creative, and have experience applying product management frameworks to develop enterprise or consumer products. You have a keen eye for design, are highly adaptable and when faced with challenges, you become more creative, not less. You like solving problems and can drive clarity to build the optimal products.
You are biased toward execution and can lead the team to bring projects from concept to completion, doing everything possible to ensure a successful launch. You are data-driven with a knack for using data to identify business opportunities, have a can-do attitude, are confident, and a skilled communicator who welcomes honest and candid feedback. You are comfortable working with engineers, customers, and executives and know how to articulate your communication to each audience effectively.
Responsibilities:
Develop the product strategy, roadmap and execution for the end-to-end Search vision, reshaping the way our workforce interacts with information and knowledge
Synthesize employee gaps and challenges into requirements, serving as the voice of the customer
Explore Search LLM grounding methodologies like AI-powered generative search and prompt engineering to deliver factual and relevant information to people, engineers and GenAI tools
Scan industry landscapes and trends and bring new ideas to the table
Responsible for developing information best practices in partnership with Netflix’s security, data privacy and legal teams
Design search evaluation experiments to increase search quality
Monitor product performance, adoption and satisfaction using data, user research, and other creative feedback mechanisms
Have a deep understanding and empathy for a broad range of internal customers, from everyday employees to internal engineering teams
Requirements:
5+ years product management experience with a proven record of delivering enterprise or consumer products
Familiarity with search engine foundations e.g., retrieval augmented generation, chunking, evaluation, query rewriting, and reranking
Exception analytical skills - there’s a lot of data to dig into!
Demonstrated experience delivering 0-1 products
Comfortable collaborating with engineers and making tradeoffs based on technical considerations and business priorities
Self-directed and comfortable operating in a decentralized, fast-paced environment
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $240,000 - $725,000.
