Netflix Houses are our permanent, always-on, constantly refreshable entertainment venues, where guests can step into their favorite stories. We want these experiences, along with merchandise offerings, to help promote love for our titles so they become part of the zeitgeist for longer periods of time and drive long-term value for Netflix.

As the Manager, Community & Programming Marketing for Experiences, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of local marketers that act as the key link between local market needs and national strategy. Our experiences portfolio is inclusive of both touring and permanent destinations that require a robust marketing and programming strategy especially to sustain year-round visitation. To accomplish this, you will need to build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams (Operations, Production, MarComms, and more) as we develop our community playbook and continually refine our approach to achieve our sales goals and measure marketing impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop programming strategy and manage annual programming calendar for Netflix House

  • Lead workflow of experiences integration with external and internal partners, such as third-party brand partners, title marketing teams and digital publicity teams.

  • Partner with creative teams on developing scalable campaign & programming toolkits that empower local teams to activate

  • Enhance the customer experience by identifying key customer journeys and working with cross-functional partners to optimize customer needs and in-venue education

  • Translate national marketing goals into locally relevant initiatives by surfacing market-specific insights, community trends, and guest behaviors.

  • Design partnership strategies and community engagement models that can be adapted locally to deliver business targets and reflect the unique character of each market.

  • Provide strategic counsel and ongoing support to local marketing leads—helping them localize global initiatives, prioritize opportunities, and optimize execution within their markets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in community, consumer engagement or event based marketing

  • Strong understanding of how to drive sales growth & ongoing adoption in partnership with Ops

  • Comfort in ambiguity and thrives in fast paced environments

  • Ability to cultivate relationships and efficiently communicate across multiple cross-functional partners - internal, external and agency partners

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Bias to action, proactive & innovative by nature

  • Strong team focus with outstanding organizational and resource management skills

  • Respect, understanding and enthusiasm for Netflix culture

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $170,000 - $360,000.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
