Manager, Live Monetization - Ads
Netflix
Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
In November 2022, Netflix launched an ad-supported tier, enabling the delivery of standard :15 and :30 ads. Since then, we've expanded our suite of advertising solutions and have grown our ad-supported monthly active user count to more than 80 million, globally. We are now scaling capabilities that focus on live content, brand integrations, and other opportunities that allow brands to partner with us across an even wider Netflix footprint.
About The Team
The Ads Commercialization team develops holistic local, cross-regional, and global strategies to deliver unparalleled value to clients while fueling Netflix’s growth. Through seamless collaboration across numerous internal teams, we build advertising solutions that exceed expectations and drive meaningful outcomes. We ensure that Live, Sponsorship, and Custom programs are supported by commercial models that optimize ad revenue, client performance, and overall value for Netflix. A critical part of our success is dependent on driving effective collaboration across teams and establishing globally consistent and locally flexible solutions.
About The Role
This role will focus on developing and managing ad monetization approaches specific to Live events [Sports, Entertainment, etc.], inclusive of both global properties [distributed to the global Netflix footprint] and local properties [distributed in 1 or a select group of markets]. Initial focus will be to develop and successfully bring to market high-impact advertising opportunities tailored primarily to the UCAN (United States and Canada) region, as well as priority initiatives in UK, MX, CA and JA. With Netflix’s mission to entertain the world, our recent acquisition of key sports properties —NFL, WWE and the Women’s World Cup in 2027— and continued development of exclusive events [Tyson/Paul & Taylor/Seranno fights], we’ve become a powerful vehicle for brands to connect meaningfully with audiences. This role is central to advancing innovative advertising solutions and commercial strategies across Live on Netflix.
