We’re looking for a QA Team Lead who is passionate about driving quality that delivers real value - not just defect detection. You’ll lead a distributed team of QA engineers embedded in cross-functional squads. You’ll shape how quality is defined, measured, and accelerated - leveraging data, automation, and AI-driven insights to make every release more reliable.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and mentor a QA team of 7-8 engineers distributed across product squads, ensuring alignment on testing standards, ownership, and best practices, including up to 50% hands-on
  • Drive measurable quality KPIs such as defect-leakage rate, test coverage, release confidence index, and test execution efficiency
  • Work closely with Release Management to ensure every release cycle is stable, predictable, and data-driven
  • Partner with the Automation Team Lead to expand automation coverage, with your team members contributing to the automation of sanity tests, reviewing automation results, and maintaining automated sanity suites
  • Integrate AI into QA flows - from intelligent test selection and failure analysis to clustering user-reported issues and predicting high-risk areas
  • Leverage all sources of truth for quality - including Customer Success insights, app store reviews, and support data - to proactively identify product issues and emerging trends
  • Partner closely with the Customer Success team to create a feedback loop between real-world user experiences and product testing priorities
  • Collaborate with Product, Mobile, Web, and firmware teams to ensure end-to-end testing strategies that reflect the customer experience
  • Continuously analyze quality trends and transform data into actionable insights for faster feedback loops and smarter prioritization
  • Champion efficiency, simplicity, and proactive communication across all QA processes

Who You Are:

  • Strong quality mindset
  • 5+ years of experience as a quality engineer, with at least 3 years leading and mentoring QA engineers - A Must
  • Proven track record working with Mobile (iOS/Android), BE, and IoT/FW products
  • Strong understanding and proven experience of manual and automated testing methodologies, Planning, execution, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes
  • Curiosity and openness to adopting new tools, especially around AI-assisted testing and analytics
  • Experience collaborating with automation engineers or contributing to automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, pyTest)
  • Experience in implementing methodologies and tracking with data and metrics - defining, tracking, and improving quality KPIs
  • A mindset that connects quality to business value: you care about impact, not just execution
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a distributed, fast-moving environment
  • Experience with compliance and quality audit is an advantage
