WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $112,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Install and configure network hardware, software, and related infrastructure to meet enterprise networking needs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network related issues, with a focus on ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

  • Monitor and manage daily network operations, including performance tuning and capacity planning for campus, data center, and remote locations.

  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex network problems and implement new technologies.

  • Document and design network architecture, including LAN, WAN, data center, and wireless solutions, while supporting continuous process improvements.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP protocols, switching, routing, load balancing, DNS, and performance monitoring.

  • Hands-on experience with cabling systems, patch panels, and copper and fiber termination.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem resolution, with the ability to interpret circuit diagrams and packet captures.

  • Experience in network maintenance and administration, including asset management, end of life, and software and hardware upgrades. Ability to work independently or within a project framework, demonstrating collaboration and adaptability in team environments.

  • Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment.

PREFERRED:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a complex network environment. Strong written and oral communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with some of Mutual’s networking tools: Cisco (ACI, SD-WAN, wireless), HPE/Aruba (ClearPass, Aruba Central, wireless), F5 (load balancing, irules, traffic steering), Infoblox (DNS, IPAM, DHCP), SolarWinds (NPM, NCM), Allegro (packet analysis, alerting), and Gigamon.

  • Experience with the practical application of scripting in support of network automation.
