Mercury is building the banking* stack for startups. We launched about four years ago with basic functionality, and now we’re refining our product and building out new features.

As a part of the Growth team, you’ll be working on:

  • Imagining and building the features that bring new users to Mercury. Viral features like shareables and network-effect-drivers don’t just make Mercury a better product, but help it grow.
  • Creating beautiful user interfaces. Our team works on highly visible and marketable new features, so we iterate on designs and don’t compromise until we have a product that our customers love.
  • Designing scalable systems. Our team is focused on shipping fast and experimentation, but enabling this across Mercury means prioritizing reliable abstractions

We’re looking for someone that is interested in learning Haskell and is comfortable working in SQL, Typescript, and React. The ideal candidate can handle technical challenges like configuring a Webpack pipeline or standing up an API for a new feature, but also cares deeply about user experience and product.

The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits. Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.

Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are the following:

  • US employees (any location): $149,600 - 176,000
  • Canadian employees (any location): CAD 136,100 – 160,200
