Summary

Immediate opening for an Executive level sales position focused on clinical, financial and operational IT solutions for hospitals and health systems in the inpatient and ambulatory space. Experience working with C-level healthcare executives with a focus on understanding market drivers, identifying prospective customers, developing relationships, pipeline management, driving the sales process and closing new business. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a proven sales track record, experience in EHR software sales and/or related IT solutions, as well as a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Regional sales management with an opportunity for overall sales team leadership dependent on experience.

Principle Duties

  • Manage a full sales cycle in assigned territory including prospect identification, qualification, and demos
  • Meet and exceed quota
  • Continuously build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline
  • Maintain detailed opportunity notes in company CRM
  • Work collaboratively with CEO, department leadership, and co-workers
  • Attend on site meetings and conferences
  • Work from home office and teleconference effectively with prospects, co-workers and clients
  • Prepare proposals and contracts

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sales or business consulting experience as a leader or an active member of a healthcare IT sales team
  • Familiarity with healthcare SaaS technologies
  • Managing to financial benchmarks and traditional KPIs
  • Experience handling complex projects with many internal coordination points, multi-level/multi-department, external stakeholders and extended timelines
  • Strong strategic planning and implementation skills (critical thinking, researching, and action orientation) required to create and deliver robust sales plans, including call activity, top account identification, quarterly forecasting and pipeline management
  • A new customer acquisition sales mindset with evidence of exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to learn new information and follow designated methodologies
  • The desire to work in an established organization with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
