Who we are looking for: La Roche-Posay is seeking a Manager to join the NPD/US DMI Hub Team. The Manager will play a key role in La Roche-Posay’s US and Global product launches, leading long-term development aligned with brand strategy and needs. We are looking for a candidate with experience in new product development and/or marketing who can support several product categories, including suncare, acne, wound healing, body moisturizers/washes, facial moisturizers, anti-aging, and sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will be driven, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

As a Manager of NPD/DMI Hub for La Roche-Posay, you will:

  • Lead Product Execution: Drive formula and concept development, initiate briefs for new projects, and collaborate with partners across Research & Innovation (R&I), Claims, Artwork, Packaging, and Operations to ensure seamless execution from ideation to production.
  • Insight & Trend Analysis: Identify global and US-based consumer, medical, and technology/ingredient trends to inform and inspire future product development strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with US Marketing and Global DMI teams to create and deliver successful product launches, ensuring strategic synergy.
  • Innovation: Generate revolutionary product ideas and concepts tailored to La Roche-Posay for both consumer and medical audiences.
  • Strategic Implementation: Develop and implement new product strategies, including positioning, formulation, packaging, and pricing.
  • End-to-End Management: Manage the full launch cycle, including concept development, naming, timeline execution, market research, legal trademark processes, and cost-of-goods (COGs) management.
  • Scientific Liaison: Work closely with the Clinical/Scientific Director to link new launches with clinical testing, driving impactful consumer and medical communication.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage COGs, Gross Margin, and pricing for new launches. Oversee initial forecasts to meet pipeline growth targets.
  • Creative & Packaging: Manage the artwork process (TAG) in collaboration with Creative and Master Design teams. Ensure Creative is aligned on copy and package direction, review all submissions, and ensure mechanicals are accurate and released on time.
  • Medical Engagement: Attend key conferences and symposiums to gain insights into the aesthetic market; present at Dermatologist Advisory Boards to gather expert feedback.

Education/Experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required.
  • Must have 3–5 years of industry-related marketing or product development experience (Consumer Packaged Goods or Beauty).

Skills

  • Launch Excellence: Proven track record of managing multiple new product launches through the entire life cycle.
  • Leadership: Strong execution, leadership, and consensus-building skills.
  • Technical Savvy: Experience working directly with R&D on new product innovations or renovations. Skincare experience is a significant plus.
  • Organizational Prowess: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritize complex projects independently.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary co-creation projects.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Digital Tools: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
  • Mobility: Open to periodic travel.

Additional Benefits Information

  • Salary Range: $98,400 - $140,200 (Actual compensation will depend on geographic location, experience, education, and skill level).
