Job Summary

L’Oréal USA’s Corporate Affairs & Engagement team is seeking a highly organized and creative Junio Associate, Employee Engagement for a 12-month internship to help execute our employee engagement strategy and initiatives. This role will work closely with other members of the Corporate Affairs & Engagement team and key partners to support internal communications across our digital channels, executive livestreams, networking and celebration receptions, a company-wide innovation program, and other employee engagement initiatives. Candidates must be organized, reliable, and self-starting with strong creative, project management, and interpersonal skills.

Key Job Responsibilities

Work closely with the Employee Engagement team to support Employee Engagement initiatives, including:

Develop and distribute communications materials across internal channels including email, newsletters, intranet, and digital signage

Provide production assistance for internal videos and livestreams

Support management of program entries and event logistics for US innovation competition and global storytelling contest

Field incoming inquiries to team communications mailbox

Provide administrative support for the team (meeting scheduling, file sharing, asset management etc.) as needed

This role also supports the planning and execution process for in-person and virtual employee events throughout the calendar year, including:

Providing event logistics support from planning to execution, including brainstorming ideas, collaborating with external vendor partners and key internal stakeholders (IT, Facilities, Catering, etc.), and managing timelines

Serve as on-site support for all virtual and in-person events, assisting with check-in, coordinating photographers and videographers, or other on-site logistics

Collect feedback and compose post-event metrics reports

Ongoing event research and reporting as needed

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have received a Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months OR must have graduated with a Master’s degree within the last 12 months with no gap more than 5 months in education history

Graduated with a degree in Communications, Marketing, or similar, with a 3.0 GPA or higher

Be highly organized and pay close attention to detail and deadlines

Possess strong communication and presentation skills

Have high level of professionalism; ability to interact with senior-level management with confidence and maturity

Be able to work independently and collaboratively, with the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment

Preferred Qualifications

Project management experience

Strong writing skills and some experience with communications tools and CMS platforms

Experience with graphic design programs (Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)

Interest in the beauty industry

Prior internship, office, or production experience
