About the Role
The primary function of the Bank Operations Reconciliation Analyst is complete daily verification of transaction entries from Payment Applications to the company ledger. They must be able to analyze outages and identify processing or system issues causing the difference in reconcilement. They must provide direction or guidance to the Sr Manager, Bank Operations Reconciliation and staff to clear entries bringing banks general ledger and Payment System applications in line.What You'll Do
Perform daily and month-end reconciliations for Payment Applications across Lending and Banking businesses, including certification
Analyze data, process flows, and control reports to identify breaks, financial impacts, and processing issues
Communicate and coordinate corrective actions with Banking Ops and cross-functional partners (AP, Cash Management, Finance)
Escalate risks, including potential debit card/ATM fraud and reporting discrepancies
Develop and update procedures to reflect process or system changes
Serve as SME for major payment system data flows (ACH, Debit Card, Check, International Wires)
About You
2–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong analytical and accounting skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, processing issues, and system breaks
Advanced Excel proficiency (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
Experience managing end-to-end payment processing and performing reconciliations across multiple systems
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Work Location
Lehi, UT or Boston, MA
We are currently working a hybrid schedule and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Time Zone Requirements
Local hours (MT, ET)
While the position will primarily work local hours, LendingClub is headquartered in Pacific Time and our ideal candidate will be flexible working across time zones when necessary.
Travel Requirements
Monthly/quarterly/as needed travel to LendingClub offices and/or other locations, as needed.
Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is 50,000-72,000. The base salary of the role will be determined by job-related knowledge, experience, education, skills, and location. Base salary is just one part of LendingClub’s Total Rewards package. You may also be eligible for long-term awards (equity) and an annual bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings).
