About the Role

We are looking for a strategic, people-focused Sr People Programs Manager to lead and scale key people initiatives that enhance the employee experience, drive organizational effectiveness, and support business outcomes. In this role, you'll partner with leaders across the business to shape learning and development programs, support career growth, and enhance organizational effectiveness.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and manage high-impact people programs aligned to company goals and employee needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with People Success Business Partners and business leaders to ensure seamless program execution and change adoption
  • Develop and manage project plans, communications, timelines, and success metrics for people initiatives
  • Develop tools and resources that support career progression, mentoring, and internal mobility
  • Identify and scale best practices across talent development, recognition, well-being, and culture-building efforts
  • Conduct needs assessments and gather feedback to iterate and improve programs based on data and insights
  • Track key People metrics and deliver reporting on program effectiveness and business impact
  • Support implementation of training programs via Learning Management Systems (LMS) and use authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of learning solutions including eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), blended learning, and on-the-job training

About You

  • 6+ years of experience in People Development, Organizational Development, or related HR roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology or related field of study; or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience designing and delivering development programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, and leadership development frameworks
  • Skilled in facilitation, coaching, and change management
  • Experience using learning technologies (LMS, e-learning tools, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Have a deep understanding of learning technologies including eLearning authoring tools and learning management systems
  • Some project management experience in a learning & development function is preferred
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Team player, willing to adapt based on business needs

Bonus points if you have:

  • Coaching certification or formal training
  • Certified in Gallup Strengths Finder
  • Graphic design or video editing experience

We are currently working a hybrid schedule and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Travel Requirements
If you need to travel for work, LendingClub will cover your travel related expenses.

Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is 135,000-155,000. The position is also eligible to receive a bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings), equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges, other compensation and benefits offered are determined by role, experience level and location.
