As a Sr. Salesforce Engineer, you will be responsible for creating custom solutions to automate some of the most complex processes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a people-person who has a very strong passion in building highly scalable, effective, user-experience driven solutions. We are looking for a talented and energetic Systems Engineer with an in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce development platform, integrations, CPQ, and general web application development. We currently operate in a hybrid working model and have offices in San Francisco, Chicago, Dublin, London and Sydney. While we’d love to see you at the office, this job is also available for remote employment if your place of permanent residence in the following states; California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Texas, and Washington. <h2>What will I be doing? 🚀</h2> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;">Build solutions using key Salesforce core programing languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, RestAPIs)</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Contribute to our framework for Salesforce development best practices. You will help establish what great looks like for others to follow.</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Using Salesforce APIs, partner with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain our Lead to Cash integrations in order to drive automation and efficiency. </li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Manage Salesforce engineering projects throughout the entire Salesforce.com development life cycle (including technical design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation and support)</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Perform independent code reviews and certify code developed other team members on the project</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Follow Salesforce development best practices and guidelines, implementing solutions and corresponding test classes, without creating technical debt, and maintaining security in the application.</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Analyze and implement high-quality code according to specifications</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Partner with Business Systems Analysts to understand business requirements in order to build solutions that meet the needs of the business</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Participate in our technical skill building activities to support an environment of continuous learning and collaborating on solutions by giving feedback. </li> </ul> <h2>What skills do I need? 📖</h2> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;">5+ Years of Salesforce development platform: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, RestAPI, and Flows.</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">You have a strong understanding of CPQ</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with CI/CD and deployment techniques in Salesforce (SalesforceDX,Gearset etc.) </li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with the Salesforce Security Model</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Familiarity with the following: Salesforce Developer Console / Workbench / API Tooling, Visual Workflow, and other development tools.</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with integrating 3rd-party APIs with the Salesforce platform</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Ability to write in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and popular Web UI frameworks within.</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Understanding of Salesforce test framework</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Thorough understanding of the constraints of Salesforce platform, particularly with regards to governor limits and best practices in delivering business requirements in the context of those constraints and troubleshooting problems which are hitting limits. </li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with financial systems (Zuora, Netsuite) is a plus</li> <li style="font-weight:400;">Enthusiasm in startup culture and learning fast!</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits 😍</h2> We are a well-treated bunch, with awesome benefits!
