Job Summary:

The Retail Marketing Coordinator enables the success of Impossible within the retail channel, supporting continued growth across Grocery, Mass, Club, and Natural Channels. This role will be instrumental in supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies and plans that drive traffic, engagement, and sales. The ideal candidate will be able to address the needs of both customers and consumers with marketing solutions, demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration, and have strong organizational skills. This role is part of the Customer Excellence Team and will report into the Director of Customer Marketing.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Customer Marketing Campaigns:

    • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various retail marketing campaigns, including in-store activations, seasonal events, new product launches, and co-branded marketing programs

    • Liaise with customers and customer marketing and media networks to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns

    • Brief and track development of retail creative assets, partnering internally and externally to build best-in-class creative that is tailored to the program objectives and audience

  • Promotional Planning & Execution:

    • Assist in the planning and execution of coupon strategies, including redemption tracking and performance analysis.

    • Coordinate the design, printing, and distribution of physical and digital coupons.

    • Partner with Retail Sales team to optimize customer promotional plans across tactics.

  • Administrative Support:

    • Coordinate the development, production, and distribution of marketing materials (digital and physical)

    • Manage ongoing budget tracking and forecasting for annual retail marketing investment, including maintenance of budget tracker

    • Collect and organize data related to marketing campaign performance, contributing to post-campaign reports and identifying areas for improvement

    • Facilitate clear and consistent communication between the Retail Marketing team and critical cross-functional partners such as Retail Sales, Brand Marketing, and Brand Management teams. Share upcoming marketing initiatives and solicit feedback

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university

  • 1-2 years of experience in a CPG organization

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • A passion for creating solutions and building processes

  • A self-starter mentality with an exceptionally high quality bar

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Intellectual curiosity and an appetite to continuously improve and learn (growth mindset)

  • A genuine interest and passion for Impossible Foods’ mission
