Primary Responsibilities:
- Partners with business leaders to scope, create and execute business analytics using the appropriate data aggregation and visualization tools
- Creates backlog and prioritization methodology for analytics requests
- Evaluates existing tools and processes to create a long-term strategy for sustainable analytics in a scaled business, offering ease and efficiency of data visualization, and transfer for business users
- Creates repeatable processes that are easily replicated by multiple team members
- Leads documentation of analytics processes and procedures to support training and business continuity
- Leads data governance efforts
- Influence without authority; interpret analyses for business leaders and equips them with the knowledge to make data-driven decisions

Acquiring, Assessing and Deploying Talent: responsible for sourcing, screening, hiring, on-boarding, orientation, deploying, training, developing, and terminating employment when that is called for.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics
- 3+ years of management experience
- Experience in the healthcare industry; the ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the relationships among pharmaceutical companies, PBMs, pharmacy providers, health plans, and medical providers
- Experience with pharmacy and/or medical claims information
- Experience engaging with and influencing senior executives
- Advanced SQL and understanding of relational databases
- Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Proven ability to work with internal customers to define business problems and proposes analytics or solutions to solve or address those needs
- Proven track record of possessing an action-oriented, issue-resolution mindset
- Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems and work in the face of ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in relevant field
- Experience with Tableau Desktop skills
- Experience with R, Python, Github, etc
- Familiarity with data engineering

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
