We seek a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm EST; Lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm EST, no weekends; no nights and no holidays.

Location: 4024 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, FL 33711

Primary Responsibilities:

• Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate information
• Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor’s offices to resolve claims issues
• Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
• Resolve customer issues while ensuring accurate information is provided
• Mail medications
• Handle money at the front counter
• Supervising other technicians

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• Active and Unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Florida
• Ability to use one’s own vehicle to make deliveries when business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
• Bilingual in Spanish
