JOB TITLE: Software Engineer

DUTIES: Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development, and testing for the healthcare industry in agile environment. Duties include: design and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders; perform automation using Agile and DevOps model; provide solution design and development to meet the needs of the business; use technologies to enrich and transform data; drive and support product implementation and delivery by driving it to stable state in production; provide alternate design solutions along with project estimates; review code and provide feedback regarding best practices to improve performance; support post-deployment troubleshooting production issues by providing solutions; demonstrate substantial depth of knowledge and experience in a specific area of Big Data and Java development; implement data into data lake using reusable and configurable framework; and train junior engineers within the organization. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or a related field and completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis or one year of experience involving the following: XML, JSON, CSV; VPN, Firewall, TCP/IP; data flows, ETL, large-scale analytics; Python, Java, or other data-intensive programming languages; cloud computing platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP; Docker, Kubernetes.
RATE OF PAY: $99,694-$146,062/Year
