Work Schedule:  Mon/Tues/Wed 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Thurs 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; Fri 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.  Occasional Saturdays (half day) and flexibility to work later weekday schedules as needed is helpful. 
   

Primary Responsibilities:  

• Welcomes patients and visitors with a smile and friendly tone
  
• Checks patients in and out of the clinic
  
• Verifies patient identity and insurance
  
• Takes copayments in accordance with patients’ insurance plans
  
• Schedules patient appointments and maintains the schedule as adjustments are required
  
• Answers phones promptly and professionally
  
• Transfers calls or takes messages appropriately
  
• Displays complete understanding of patient check-in forms and clearly describes information to patients and visitors as needed
  
• Calls patients to confirm future appointments
  
• Performs other duties as required

Required Qualifications:  

• High School diploma or equivalent
  
• 1+ years of customer service experience
  
• Proficiency in general computer use and Microsoft Office
  

   
Preferred Qualifications:    

• 1+ years of medical office experience
  
• Proven excellent customer service skills

New York Residents Only: The hourly range for New York City residents is $16.00 to $27.31 per hour.
