The Director of Client Solutions reports to and supports the VP of Client Solutions in overseeing the team responsible for the implementation of new health plan partners, products, and lines of business. In this role, you will manage a portion of the team while also leading complex implementations and internal process improvement initiatives. You’re a good fit for this role if you’re passionate about leading teams and complex projects and a “jack of all trades” who can balance being strategic while also being a master of the details. The Client Solutions team at AbleTo sits within the Enterprise Growth team which also consists of Sales and Account Management.

If you are located preferably in New York, you will have the flexibility to work remotely*, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges. 

  
Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Ability to dive in quickly to learn the ins and outs of AbleTo’s business and systems, our health plan partners’ priorities, and day-to-day Client Solutions processes and responsibilities
  • Lead implementations end-to-end by overseeing all workstreams and managing client and AbleTo stakeholders to ensure successful and on-time launches
  • Collaborate cross-functionally by identifying requirements and helping guide solutioning on new non-standard implementations and challenges that may arise during implementations 
  • Build solid relationships externally with individuals at all levels of our health plan partners and internally with cross-functional leaders and their teams
  • Provide oversight to your team on their ongoing implementations and initiatives, including directing them on best practices, serving as a point of escalation as needed, and ultimately taking responsibility for your team’s success
  • Act as a problem solver by identifying areas of opportunity to improve processes internally and externally and oversee the operationalization and change management of those processes 
  • Partner with VP of Client Solutions and VP of Account Management to identify, triage, and assign projects and initiatives to team members

Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years in successful client implementation or client services roles and/or consulting-based role 
  • 3+ years of people management experience and a passion for leading teams
  • Experience with project management 
  • Experience successfully prioritizing numerous responsibilities for multiple projects, with effective and timely follow-up while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience collaborating effectively including employing diplomacy skills to maintain solid client relationships while balancing internal stakeholders and organizational priorities
  • Experience mapping, designing, and implementing processes that involve multiple stakeholders and/or functions 
  • Experience using communication skills to distill complex topics into simple next steps; ability to present to executive-level stakeholders, and direct and concise verbal and written communication 

  
Preferred Qualifications:         

  • Experience in the healthcare industry 
  • Experience working with health 
  • Demonstrated interest in the mental health space 
  • Consulting experience 
  • Willingness to take initiative and comfortable with minimal support in a dynamic high growth organization 
  • Demonstrated genuine desire to serve others and care about the work you do

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $101,200 to $184,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
