About the Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

We’re looking for a Sr. Regional Sales Manager of Commercial, to manage a team of Account Executives, selling Fivetran products across a multitude of verticals. We are looking for a sales leader with great energy, strategic focus, and initiative to drive team performance. The candidate will be a high impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results & continual employee development. The Sales Manager is fully responsible for developing and managing the team to generate pipeline, close revenue, and achieve individual team and organizational quotas.

This is a full-time position based out of our Denver, Colorado office. You will be expected to report to the office 3 days a week.

What You’ll Do

  • The Sr. Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales strategies for their team's territory by combining best practices and predicting sales volumes
  • Create effective sales plans by merging successful techniques with sales predictions for your team's region
  • Recruit, employ, and empower exceptional Account Executives
  • Communicates and presents complex solutions to upper-level management and provides feedback to optimize sales strategy and positioning
  • Offer market insight to the management team to enhance sales approach and positioning
  • Implement the field sales activity plan and conduct sales meetings with potential customers
  • Manages and expands sales with key accounts while ensuring that service levels exceed customer expectations
  • Oversee and increase sales with significant accounts while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Prepare sales projections and devise yearly sales targets
  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand
  • You possess exceptional expertise in business and decision-making, with a priority on achieving objectives
  • You excel in negotiations and exhibit strong leadership qualities
  • Your focus is on achieving results, and you have a genuine passion for motivating your team

Skills We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years experience in managing sales within the Software/Infrastructure/Platform (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) industry
  • Develop sales strategies by combining best practices and predicting sales volumes for the team's territory
  • Forecast future sales by analyzing past sales data and marketing trends
  • Presenting and effectively communicating complex solutions to higher-level management.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent follow-up skills
  • It's essential to have a strong understanding of technology and possess technical skills in order to provide effective guidance and support to team members
  • Possess excellent consultative selling skills and has a trustworthy and inquisitive personality that clients find appealing
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others as well as take charge and utilize creative problem-solving techniques

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the target position and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, business need, market demands. This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits, if applicable.

$104,710$130,887.50 USD
