Schedule: Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts available
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team in Miami, FL. The CNA will provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with facility policies
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with meal setup and feeding when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Support nursing staff with additional clinical and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or home health setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
