Your Career

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Cortex platform modules at Palo Alto Networks, you will be a strategic leader in the Cortex product marketing organization. You will serve as a subject matter expert for Cortex ITDR, Advanced Email Security, and more. In this role, you will define the messaging, positioning, and sales enablement strategies that drive market adoption. Working at the intersection of Product Management, Sales, and Field Marketing, you will execute high-impact strategies that advance our mission of securing the modern enterprise.

Your Impact

  • Translate complex technical capabilities into simple, compelling value propositions that resonate with key buyer personas

  • Collaborate with product management to build a shared market and product vision that forms the foundation of product marketing activities

  • Author high-quality business and technical content across multiple formats—including web, social, video, and whitepapers—with a passion for storytelling

  • Lead end-to-end product launches and partner with GTM and field teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive pipeline

  • Empower sales and field teams with the strategic tools and technical expertise required to outperform the competition and accelerate deal cycles

  • Represent the company at industry events and in executive customer briefings to evangelize our unique point of view

  • Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making across leadership teams

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, technical marketing, consulting, or other relevant functions

  • Deep understanding of Security Operations, current market trends, and the evolving competitive landscape

  • Expertise in managing the full product launch lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution from narrative creation through to post-launch success

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently at industry conferences and to executive audiences

  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally to drive sales, demand generation, and overall organization and business success

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience is preferred

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $193,000 - $230,000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
