Job Description

Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the delivery of our software products for customer evaluation (POC) and production installation, ensuring that our customers have a seamless experience when testing and adopting our solutions.

The TPM will work cross-functionally with sales, customer success, engineering, and product teams to track and coordinate activities that facilitate smooth proof-of-concept (POC) evaluations and production deployments. This includes communicating clear processes, managing timelines, following up on action items, producing program reports and ensuring alignment between internal teams and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, experience managing software deployment or customer engagement projects, and familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC). While technical expertise is not required, experience working in a software development company is essential.

This role reports to the Senior Technical Program Manager.

Your Impact

  • Manage the delivery of PRISMA AIRS products for POC evaluations and production installations, ensuring a structured and efficient process.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, customer success, product, and engineering) to align on customer needs and deployment timelines.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables for customer engagements.

  • Ensure customer readiness for evaluations and installations, communicating requirements and setting expectations.

  • Monitor and report on POC and deployment progress, identifying bottlenecks and escalating issues as needed.

  • Document and optimize the processes for customer evaluations and deployments, ensuring best practices are followed.

  • Work closely with the Technical Program Manager to align customer engagement activities with broader company objectives.

  • Gather feedback from customers and internal teams to improve delivery processes and product adoption.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Experience managing projects related to software deployment, customer onboarding, or technical evaluations.

  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working in a software development company.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Asana, Monday, Trello, Linear or Jira).

  • Ability to track project status, identify risks, and drive resolutions.

  • Comfortable working in an agile and dynamic environment.

  • Experience in AI/ML or cybersecurity is a big plus but not required.

Additional Information

The Team

Our engineering team is at the core of our products and connected directly to the mission of preventing cyberattacks. We are constantly innovating — challenging the way we, and the industry, think about cybersecurity. Our engineers don’t shy away from building products to solve problems no one has pursued before.

We define the industry instead of waiting for directions. We need individuals who feel comfortable in ambiguity, excited by the prospect of a challenge, and empowered by the unknown risks facing our everyday lives that are only enabled by a secure digital environment.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $94000 - $153000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

Our Commitment

We’re problem solvers that take risks and challenge cybersecurity’s status quo. It’s simple: we can’t accomplish our mission without diverse teams innovating, together.

We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for all qualified individuals with a disability. If you require assistance or accommodation due to a disability or special need, please contact us at [email protected].
