About the Role
Blackbaud is seeking a results-driven and consultative Senior Sales Specialist to join our newly formed Agents for Good Team, focused on the K-12 vertical. This team is dedicated exclusively to selling Blackbaud’s AI Agent solutions – intelligent automation tools designed to drive mission impact for K-12 organizations. You’ll collaborate with innovative leaders leveraging cutting-edge agent technology while enjoying a flexible, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment.
What You’ll Do
- Sales Enablement & Support: Partner with Account Executives to position AI Agent solutions effectively, support deal strategy, and engage in customer-facing conversations for new business and lead sales engagements with existing customers.
- Customer Discovery & Solutioning: Lead discovery sessions to understand K-12 customer needs and identify opportunities for transformation using AI Agents.
- Product Expertise: Maintain strong knowledge of Blackbaud’s AI Agent offerings and roadmap, articulating value propositions and differentiators specific to agent technology.
- Pipeline Development: Collaborate with marketing and sales to generate interest, qualify leads, and accelerate pipeline growth for AI Agent solutions in the K-12 sector.
- Demo & Presentation Delivery: Deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops tailored to K-12 customer use cases for AI Agents.
- Feedback Loop: Provide customer insights to Product and Engineering teams to inform roadmap and innovation for AI Agents.
- Training & Evangelism: Help educate the broader sales team on AI Agent capabilities, use cases, and success stories.
What You’ll Have
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering, with proven experience in the K-12 education sector.
- Demonstrated sustained quota attainment in previous roles.
- Aptitude and fluency in AI concepts, with a focus on intelligent agent technology (deep expertise not required).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technologies for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed sales environment.
- Passion for social impact and alignment with Blackbaud’s mission.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.

The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $156,400.00 to $218,300.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.Benefits Include:
