The Marketing Communications & Demand Generation Manager leads the planning, execution, and optimization of email-based marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across Everfi’s key audiences, including corporate partners (paying customers) and educators (users). This role requires strong strategic planning abilities, excellent writing and communication skills, and deep experience working with data to optimize performance and guide decision-making.
This role oversees inbound demand workflows, audience segmentation, and content creation (primarily but not limited to email) to support revenue growth and product activation across the entire organization.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Campaign Leadership
- Develop and execute integrated demand generation and communications strategies aligned to company KPIs and audience needs.
- Plan campaigns that support revenue, adoption, and activation targets.
- Use campaign performance data to refine messaging, optimize, and inform spend recommendations.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, Implementation, and Communications to ensure messaging and campaigns are aligned across teams.
Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Lead outreach and nurturing for K-12 inbound leads and product activation campaigns.
- Write, edit, and refine high-quality marketing copy tailored to corporate and educator audiences.
- Implement segmentation, A/B testing, and deployment within email marketing platforms.
- Establish and maintain best practices for email and inbound communications, improving deliverability, engagement, and conversion metrics.
- Maintain scalable processes and support cross-team adoption of shared standards and high-performing templates.
Audience Engagement & Lead Conversion
- Oversee timely follow-up and engagement for inbound leads across both corporate and educator segments.
- Qualify leads, identify opportunities, and ensure smooth handoff to Sales and Implementation teams.
- Support users (educators or customers) with registration or onboarding guidance to accelerate product activation.
Data, Insights & Collaboration
- Track and evaluate campaign performance metrics, sharing insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with regional and national teams to share best practices, optimize targeting strategies, and improve funnel conversion.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5+ years of experience in marketing communications, demand generation, content creation, or similar roles.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with experience crafting audience-specific messaging.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize campaigns that drive measurable results.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform strategy and performance.
- Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, Amplemarket, Groove/SFMC or similar CRM/automation/email marketing tools preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong collaborator with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Resourceful, proactive, and driven to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
