Job Description

Research Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Help prepare/design preclinical formulations (drug delivery)
• Perform solution and solid state chemistry characterization experiments
• Conduct instrument maintenance and preparation of routine laboratory reagents (i.e.,buffers)
• Help with shipping and ordering lab supplies
• Perform protein and small molecule stability characterization studies

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:

• Experience with instrumental methods such as HPLC/UPLC, and solution and solid-state characterization
• Team oriented, dependable, and a self-starter
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable and with a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, attention to detail, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in biochemistry, chemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or other related degree concentration
• 1-2 years of industry and/or academic research experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
