Job Description

Join Eurofins as a Lab Logistics & Support Technician, where your attention to detail and organizational skills will help maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant laboratory environment. This non-testing role is ideal for individuals who enjoy supporting scientific teams through hands-on operational work—without performing analytical testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain lab inventory, prepare media, and manage supplies
  • Safely handle compressed gases and cryogenic liquids
  • Clean and monitor temperature units, fume hoods, and biosafety cabinets
  • Track equipment maintenance and calibration using electronic systems
  • Coordinate workflows across departments using digital tools
  • Manage lab notebooks, logbooks, and documentation reconciliation
  • Support recurring equipment maintenance and calibration schedules
  • Organize and label lab spaces according to SOPs
  • Complete safety and procedural trainings
  • Perform tasks in areas handling potent chemical compounds
  • Participate in weekend and overtime schedules as needed

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and move equipment
  • Familiarity with cGMP and electronic systems
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

The position is full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, with the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, New York are encouraged to apply.

Interview Process:

  • 10–15 min phone screen with recruiter
  • 45–60 min virtual interview with manager/group leader
