Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading a team that manages shipping and receiving supplies, performing incoming quality inspections, inventory stocking, counting, and reporting, and providing general warehouse support.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
The Warehouse Supervisor shall:
- Oversee a team of material handlers.
- Lead and motivate the team, set goals, and perform the team’s tasks where necessary.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate staff performance, and ensure all established work instructions, standard operating procedures, and product specifications are consistently followed.
- Support a task flow strategy for the warehouse team to ensure effective and timely completion of daily tasks and functions.
- Support the material handler team in maintaining an organized and clean warehouse and related storage areas.
- Ensure inventory counts are accurate and the target stock level for each item is maintained in all applicable locations with a strategic flow of materials into the lab.
- Maintain timely and accurate inventory reporting including potential waste, damage, and general concerns.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with internal operating procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies, including the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and the Food & Drug Administration
- Meet basic expectations of Eurofins DPT’s quality management system, including, but not limited to, good workmanship, adherence to standard operating procedures, training, good documentation practices, and accurate recordkeeping.
- Ensure that team members are appropriately trained in all relevant warehouse and purchasing procedures.
- Distribute and document technical procedures to support the material handlers.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of inventory or warehouse experience, including 2 years in a lead role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and documentation practices.
- Have high integrity and demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with other departments in a team environment.
- Effective time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with inventory reporting, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse operations.
- Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a controlled laboratory environment.
- Ability to work within Quality systems under regulatory requirements.

- This laboratory carefully maintains all hazardous materials. All employees must abide by Eurofins DPT’s Safety and Exposure procedures. This includes using the safety clothing and equipment provided.

Compensation:
- $55K-$75K
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8:00pm-5:00pm
