Job Description
Technician I responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in Reagent Manufacture of products.
- Support site management in ensuring compliance lean initiatives and processes.
- Perform manufacturing service functions including filling, labeling, kit packaging etc.
- Assist in Quality Control testing on Raw materials, WIPS, Finish Goods.
- Record and report manufacturing and testing data promptly and accurately on approved Batch records and laboratory note books.
- Abide by all applicable SOP related to the task performed.
- Perform Inventory cycle counts and end of the year inventory.
- Cleaning and maintaining formulation equipment.
- Maintain stock quantities of inventory product.
- Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering operation tasks in a timely manner.
- Files and maintains pertinent documents related to manufacturing.
- Conducts calibration equipment checks.
- Adheres to department Quality Management Program requirements.
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required.
- Adheres to site employee health and safety (EHS) requirements.
- Uses an array of business software applications (e.g., Word Processing, PowerPoint and Spreadsheet, SharePoint and company systems).
- Assists in records management, populating database with collected data.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Art degree in Biology, Chemistry or other related sciences
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience preferred but not required, ideally 2 years of experience in science field
- LEAN process experience preferred.
- Able to operate common laboratory equipment such as:
- micropipettes
- centrifuge
- spectrophotometers
- pH meters
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
The Ideal Candidate Possesses the Following:
- Willing to learn new skills and be able to work in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work with little Supervision.

Position is full-time with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Fremont, CA are encouraged to apply.
- Compensation: $52,000 - $64,480
