GENERAL FUNCTION
The Prada Distribution leader will implement both short-term and mid-term commercial strategy and executions for the entire PRADA portfolio. The function works in synergy with brands and channels to develop and manage relevant initiatives and distribution elevation at a regional level. Acts as the unique point of reference across corporate functions for business management of the entire portfolio with North America.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- With Global and Prada partners, lead and develop the North American distribution strategy of the entire Prada portfolio of brands, managing the coordination for proper monitoring and execution of brand guidelines, in line with local business needs and targets
- Collaborate with the Global Prada Distribution Manager in the development and project management of relevant portfolio initiatives and regional projects, focusing on both cross-brand and mono-brand projects
- Identify regional strategies and opportunities to partner with the global Brand team in developing strong, plug-and-play projects that can be easily implemented within North American channels, coordinating the rollout of these projects in the channels (e.g., distribution strategy & Contract development, Prada Elevation assessment and management)
- Collaborate with and influence channel partners to define critical actions to adjust and implement brand plans and strategies to meet budget and distribution targets. This would be achieved by monitoring North American business results across channels, collecting insights from brand and commercial teams, and tracking business performance at all levels
- Implement and ensure the application of both qualitative and quantitative criteria in monitoring and managing the commercial strategy in partnership with the channel teams
- Lead the continuous improvement of enforcement and monitoring processes, ensuring that standards are consistently met and improved
- Establish and manage the enforcement process to track and act on diverted business, ensuring adherence to company policies
- Drive strategy through assessing, identifying and revising distribution to focus on key luxury partners, with the goal of strengthening relationships and increasing productivity
- Define and update performance metrics and objectives based on market trends working with key stakeholders
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Business Administration or similar and/or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of marketing strategy experience in Marketing Business and/or Brand Management within commercial, retail or e-commerce
- Knowledge of market dynamics and key players within the sector
- Strong ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, with particular attention to results and performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage priorities
- Experience in managing enforcement processes and addressing diverted business activities
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key luxury sector partners
- Ability to create a trusted network within the business organization
- Understanding of portfolio management dynamics and multi-brand and mono-brand initiatives
- Ability to coordinate and implement global projects at a regional level
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in the luxury brand segment
Pay Range: 161,297.60 - 247,345.60
