This position is responsible for managing the accounting operations and other topic concerned Finance activities ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Group and local regulations, and maintaining internal controls. This role supervises the accounting team and collaborates with other departments to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
  • Provide Foreign currency impact analysis and recommendations to support Regional Treasury.

Accounting Operations

  • Supervise daily accounting activities with local accounting team and Global Share services "GBS", including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, Fix Assets and general ledger.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
  • Maintain integrity of financial records and Chart of Accounts.

Financial Reporting

  • Review monthly Group report and annual Statutory financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and internal audits.

Compliance & Tax

  • Coorporate with tax team to ensure adherence to tax laws, VAT regulations, and statutory requirements.

Internal Controls

  • Corporate with stakeholders to improve and implement internal control requirements by Group.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff.
  • Allocate tasks and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Liaise with senior management, operations, and external stakeholders.
  • Support financial information and presentations for decision-making.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or Above in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Lao CPA is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Lao accounting principle and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing or multinational company environment.
  • Familiarity with internal audit processes.
