GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Project Manager will lead Key Performance Indicators reporting, strategic initiatives to define, plan and implement new end-to-end customer integrations. Establish, maintain and implement a clear roadmap to enhance, scale, and continuously develop existing programs.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads new project / program proposals discovery sessions, RFP, and business requirements documentation
  • Translate business needs into detailed requirements, document existing processes to define and implement standard and robust solutions
  • Build, manage, and implement Environmental, Health and Safety roadmap by identifying current gaps, proposing and developing new capabilities to continuously improve customer experience and business needs
  • Review and recommend new projects and programs and ensure alignment to roadmap
  • Work with project team to identify technical solutions and constraints to propose best course of action
  • Review implementation of process enhancements, and lead implementation of key initiatives
  • Build business cases and lead projects through internal stage gate funding process
  • Build, manage and maintain project plans, to establish clear timeline, responsibilities and budget control
  • Lead the Budget proposal for Environment, Health and Safety projects across the businesses.
  • Manages Key Performance indicators reporting, Balance Score Card, Enhancements process, and Steering Committee
  • Ensure knowledge transfer across the organization promoting a virtuous improvement cycle
  • Lead high complexity Environment, Health & Safety projects with large project teams
  • Establish very strong partnership with operation leads to ensure proper implementation of proposed programs / projects.
  • Report on project progress in a clear, consistent and concise manner to executive leadership

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in a related discipline required (IT, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering), Masters degree preferred
  • 8+ years of managing medium to complex projects
  • Experience leading EHS, supply chain, financial or IT systems improvements initiatives
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally in verbal and written form to internal/external customers at all management levels
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment, Operations & Finance.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work and influence others from different functional areas and levels within and outside the organization
  • Experience in creating and maintaining project plans, delivering projects on schedule and not exceeding budget

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • PMI and/or SC certification (s) (CPIM/CSCP) preferred
  • 3+ years technical experience in an Environment, Health and Safety related role
  • Experience in the optical industry and/or in a consultancy role
  • Prior experience managing large project teams (20+ people)
