About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Salinas, CA. In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers, supporting the sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
You’ll handle customer inquiries related to Enza Zaden products, pricing, order status, delivery timelines, customs clearance, and phytosanitary requirements. Your ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and monitor customer orders and related administrative tasks
- Ensure accurate invoicing and timely communication with customers
- Collaborate with logistics and sales teams to coordinate deliveries
- Provide information on product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Support compliance with customs and phytosanitary regulations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
What You Bring
- Vocational education; Associate’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Quick learner with strong computer skills
- Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 10%)
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated starting hourly rate: $30.00 – $33.00, based on experience, skills, and education.
