Founded in 2017, we've grown fast and now serve members across the United States. And we've just started. So join us on this mission!

Job Description

A bit about this role:

As Senior Manager, Clinical Pharmacy Operations, you’ll lead Devoted’s mission-critical medication optimization interventions with the goal of improving the health outcomes of tens of thousands of Medicare Advantage members while driving millions in cost savings for them and Devoted. You’ll be the operational architect behind an AI-enabled, technology-forward, and clinically complex program that changes how our members understand and manage their medications. Working at the intersection of clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and technology, you’ll build systems and processes to deliver healthcare innovation at scale.

This role sits at the heart of Devoted's population health strategy, with high visibility across clinical leadership and executive teams. Reporting to the Head of Population Health and partnering closely with our Director, Clinical Pharmacy, you'll shape critical decisions that influence both member outcomes and key performance indicators. As we grow from managing medication for hundreds of thousands or members to millions of members, the operational excellence and strategic frameworks you develop will scale to enable sustainable, high-quality care delivery.

Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Cross-functional execution. Manage performance against operating KPIs and clinical and financial outcomes for medication management programs that reduce total cost of care. Partner with clinical teams to design and implement pharmacy interventions, translating clinical goals into actionable operational strategies. Guide initiatives from pilot phase through full-scale implementation across our member population.

  • Analysis. Leverage data analysis tools to determine root cause barriers to major medication therapy problems that drive clinical outcomes, ranging from operational considerations (i.e. outreach connection rates, encounter throughput, care team productivity) to clinical outcomes (i.e. total cost of care and clinical outcome measures)

  • Process Improvement. Own portfolio of high-value cross-disciplinary pharmacy initiatives to advance programmatic efficiency/effectiveness, including close collaboration with product, engineering, data science, & member experience teams.

  • Strategic Planning. Partner with leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute on pharmacy programs spanning MTM and cost reduction initiatives that span a multidisciplinary integrated health system that includes primary care, specialty care, and acute care.

  • MTM Program Leadership & Compliance. Ensure our Part D Medication Therapy Management (MTM) program, which involves Devoted aiming to do comprehensive medication reviews with tens of thousands of our members, sets the industry standard for both compliance and member experience. Balance regulatory requirements with operational efficiency, delivering exceptional results across quality metrics while maintaining the personal touch that defines Devoted's approach to member care.

Required skills and experience:

  • 4+ years of experience driving operational performance improvement in complex, regulated, or high-stakes environments through data-driven approaches (i.e. developing metrics & targets, analyzing trends, driving performance improvement, reporting outcomes). Experience in healthcare, financial services, consulting, technology, or other industries requiring rigorous analytical problem-solving and rapid learning of intricate operational systems.

  • Demonstrated leadership impact and collaborative excellence, with experience successfully influencing outcomes across organizational levels—whether through direct management, cross-functional project leadership, or matrix reporting relationships that require building consensus without formal authority.

  • Strong analytical thinking and toolkit, including comfort building sophisticated Excel models, leveraging business intelligence platforms (such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and enthusiasm for mastering emerging technologies.

  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to distill complex operational and clinical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. Your writing moves projects forward and your presentations drive decisions.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Healthcare ecosystem fluency through hands-on experience at clinics, health programs, payers, or relevant graduate-level education. We value candidates who understand how clinical care, economics, and member experience intersect in real-world healthcare delivery.

  • AI and automation proficiency with curiosity about emerging technologies. Whether you're prompting large language models to streamline workflows, exploring process automation tools, or simply excited about leveraging AI to enhance operational efficiency, we want forward-thinking team members who see technology as a force multiplier.
