As a Sr. Manager, Demand Planning at Danone North America, you will play a critical role in leading the demand planning process in the short-to-long-term time horizon. You will be responsible for driving forecast accuracy and ensuring alignment between commercial and supply chain teams. You will lead the demand planning process for a portfolio of products, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver and animate reliable forecasts that support business objectives and put a Danone in Every Hand and Every Heart.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partners with sales, finance, marketing & category commercial to develop a forecast for the full Business Unit portfolio
- Develops a strong data-driven POV on the direction of the business by consolidating data from multiple sources and systems
- Lead the end-to-end GPS process for their respective Business Unit in collaboration with the Demand Director
- Presents the GPS output in multiple meetings with cross-functional leaders
- Lead a team of planners and set team direction and priorities for GPS cycle
- Drives leadership alignment and decisions using data and insight
- Connects and manages the interactions between key long-term strategic planning activities (IBP, Strat Plan, etc.)
- Understand forecasting inputs and articulate their impacts to a cross-functional audience
- Influences stakeholders through data-driven storytelling
- Fosters strong relationships, particularly within operations, commercial, finance and marketing functions
- Present forecasting KPIs and actions through the S&OP processes
- Navigates the organization to ensure information & knowledge sharing to support forecast accuracy
- Leads & executes continuous process and technology improvement efforts to improve forecast accuracy, process standardization & supporting the overall objectives of Danone
- Manages talent pipeline and onboarding of new planners
- Attend regular business reviews and share relevant information to promote a strong understanding of the business
Job Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., SAP APO, Excel, o9, Circana).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be organized and self-disciplined to manage tight timelines and milestones
- Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to direct and develop a team of people, strong leadership skills
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of business levers and end-to-end impacts
The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $145,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.
