Job Summary
This role is responsible for all of the suppliers delivering raw and packaging materials to the Danone factories located in the US & Canada.
Key Responsibilities
To ensure the overall governance of suppliers, in line with Danone standards and procedures applicable to supplier approval and supplier management.
- To ensure that all R&P materials are safe and fit for purpose, protecting Danone consumers and brands, and enabling strong, profitable and sustainable growth.
- To implement continuous improvement processes with suppliers and internal stakeholders for the management of quality and food safety issues related to R&P materials, including but not limited to consumer complaints, material non-conformities, product non-conformities, and allocated to suppliers.
- To contribute to productivity initiatives, dual sourcing and BCP projects, without compromising on quality and food safety performance.
- To develop a high-performing team of internal supplier auditors to implement the supplier management program’ governance, and animate supplier-related programs (continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, productivity, emerging risks assessment, sustainability…).
- Work openly and proactively with teams and categories to drive overall performance

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- This role will require travel to suppliers for audits and technical reviews; and to plants to understand adequacy between materials and capabilities
The salary range for this position is $200,000-250,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.
