As Senior Procurement Manager, Beverage Carton & Compact Board, your mission is to source aseptic and non-aseptic beverage cartons and compact boards for Danone North America. As part of the Danone North America Procurement team, you will be a key contributor to support the growth, innovation and sustainability ambitions of the business. You will lead and/or contribute to key sourcing projects in the region while monitoring and driving key performance indicators related to financial performance, quality & legal compliance and responsible sourcing.
Main responsibilities
- Co-creating with the central procurement team Danone North America’s sourcing strategy
- Secure supply in line with Danone’s sourcing strategy
- Prepare and launch tenders, bid analysis, contract negotiations
- Lead with R&I, Quality and Operations category sourcing projects around portfolio simplification, dual sourcing, reformulation
- Create connections with the central procurement team located in Europe to facilitate category strategy alignment
- Follow up contract with volume allocation, consumption coverage, quality notification, claim
- Develop in depth market knowledge on regional players and insights including local business needs
- Supplier relationship & performance management
- Category reporting and compliance
- Prepare Budget, price lists, material variance analysis, monitor material coverage
- Monitor and support financial performance of material procurement
- Active participation in sustainability initiatives related to the category.
The salary range for this position is $113,000-162,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.
