We are currently looking to hire aMaintenance Mechanic Bbased in ourChatsworth, Californiamanufacturing plant! In this role, you willensure operations of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing corrective and preventive maintenance requirements onvarious typesof industrial equipment including motors, pumps, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.While performing the duties of the job the employee will stand for an extendedperiod of time, walk, bend, stoop, occasionallylift upto 50lbs, use arms and hands at or above shoulder height, work in high areas including the roof, andoperateequipment including scissor lift.Employeewill work with chemicals.

Thebase compensation for this position is $37.00 per hourand is eligible for overtime. This is a unionized role based on site and the work schedule is as follows (subject to availability):
- Second Shift: Monday – Friday (with occasional Saturday)
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns in manufacturing production equipment.
- Rapidly assess, analyze, and resolve complicated problems with little initial information or direction and with varying degrees of ambiguity.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair, preventative and predictive maintenance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
- Communicate and work as a team with other key personnel within the operation.
- Compliance with personal safety, food safety, and environmental standards, at top of mind. This includes following all established maintenance processes to adhere and uphold all plant technical standards and ensure company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations.
