Lead commercial strategies and execution for Beverage Creations with focus on Waters KDP/ DSD business as well as a focus on strategic insights across our top customers. Lead communication between sales team and functional organization areas, including brand marketing, shopper marketing, demand and supply planning, finance, and more. Steward go-to-market processes ensuring that sales/customer voice is considered (customer business planning, new product launches, supply allocations, hold-back estimates for trade spend allocation, etc.). Provide support for team-wide projects and objectives as needed.

Translate BU objectives and strategies into sales and channel specific strategies and objectives

  • Manage the customer planning process and oversee the development of plan creation in Danone planning systems
  • Set clear and specific executional (assortment, merchandising, pricing and shelving) objectives for KDP/ DSD Waters. Develop and present commercial strategies, objectives, and plans at national and regional sales meetings
  • Participate in demand planning meetings and ensure connectivity between production and sales
  • Ensure that channel specific strategies and innovations are being developed and work with the business units and marketing to guide and enhance this process

Engage with key customers to drive commercial excellence

  • Lead development and compiling of compelling selling content for customer sell-in cycles working with category and brand marketing teams
  • Provide guidance to customer teams on customer planning, pricing, innovation and service-related questions
  • In conjunction with Sales leadership, serve as HQ point of contact with all commercial partners
  • Work closely with Supply and Demand planning to ensure optimal Service to customers through developing clear customer communication, managing expectations and developing order management allocation processes
  • Leverage Danone insights with route to market partners to enable successful selling.
  • Engage with cross-functional innovation team and provide strong voice of sales/customers
  • Build new product launch plan (i.e., sell deck) - to articulate where we are going first with new products, right pricing, ship dates, etc.

Coordinate with BUs to build brand plans and stories

  • Work with BU to develop brand selling stories, including product positioning, pricing, and assortment priorities
  • Provide business intelligence for specific BU/products, be well versed on what is happening in the business and communicate effectively with HQ partners

Support Category Commercial Team Objectives

  • Assist with iRi and reporting for RTD and Waters business on as-needed basis, under direction of manager
  • Prepare and present updates on regular cadence for senior BU leadership

Key Performance Metrics

  • Delivery of BU NS/ Share/ PM targets for Waters & Total Beverage Creation Portfolio.
  • Early Lead Time planning for KDP and Beverage (New item set up, Selling Materials, etc)

The base compensation range for this position is $75,000-105,000 commensurate with experience.
